David Hobby sent me a link to his blog, Strobist, which is a blog dedicated to a pretty specific niche, innovative uses of your flash, or as the site says:
Our goal is to promote more effective use of small, shoe-mount flashes.
It’s got some very interesting practical how-to content, including some great DIY stuff, like this DIY Macro strip light. If you’re wanting to get more out of your shoemount flash and get more creative with lighting without having to break the bank, I recommend a visit.
